Steve Snyder as King Arthur
After his triumphant performance last year as Henry Higgins in FUSE’s My Fair Lady, Steve Snyder returns to play King Arthur in CAMELOT. Steve arrived with his family in State College three years ago to teach acting and Shakespeare for the Penn State School of Theatre. For Penn State, he has directed DEATHAPALOOZA at the Arboretum, and TWELFTH NIGHT, and has been seen as Ismay in TITANIC and Brian in O, BEAUTIFUL. Professional work includes productions with American Players Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and Writers’ Theatre, among others.
Kayla Marie Berghoff as Guenevere
We’re thrilled to have Kayla Marie Berghoff join us to play Guenevere. She is a New York City based actress and will be graduating in May 2017 with her MFA in acting from The New School for Drama. Originally from California, Kayla performed regionally on the west coast before moving to New York. Recent credits include HAPPY END (Lillian Holiday), HENRY VI Part 3 (Queen Margaret), THE TURN OF THE SCREW (The Governess), CABARET (Lulu), and A CHRISTMAS CAROL (Mrs. Cratchit).
Michael Pilato as Lancelot
Michael Pilato is a 2013 graduate of the Penn State Musical Theatre program and will be returning to State College to play Lancelot. Michael played the Soldier in Richard Biever’s production of SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE in 2010. Since leaving PSU, Michael was seen as Favorite Son in the national tour of Green Day’s AMERICAN IDIOT, as Emmett in LEGALLY BLONDE for Norwegian Cruise Lines, and as Al in A CHORUS LINE at Surflight Theatre, directed by ACL original cast member Mitzi Hamilton. We’re thrilled to have Michael join us for CAMELOT!
Wilson Hutton as Merlyn/King Pellinore
Wilson Hutton returns to FUSE having played Jacob Marley in SCROOGE and Leonard in SEMINAR. In CAMELOT, Wil takes on both Merlyn and King Pellinore. He trained at Carnegie-Mellon and worked professionally in Pittsburgh and New York as an actor and teacher before settling in State College. He has worked locally with the Next Stage, the State College and Nittany Valley Shakespeare Festivals, Pennsylvania Centre Stage, and the Penn State School of Theatre. Roles include Grandfather in RAGTIME, Hugh in TRANSLATIONS, Prospero in THE TEMPEST, Frank in EDUCATING RITA, and Pozzo in WAITING FOR GODOT.
